Are you a creative Brand Manager with a sweet tooth for innovation? We’re looking for a creative Brand Manager to lead our exciting novelty category and transform playful candy concepts into market-leading products! You’ll manage some of our award-winning own brands like Sweet Vibes, and lead partnerships with our brand partners including Vimto. The role has come about due to the internal development of our existing Brand Manager and sits as part of our super creative, definitely not sickly sweet Marketing team. It’s a key role in shaping and driving the World of Sweets product strategy and developing category and channel business plans for our brands that drive profitable growth.
Our Head Office roles come with hybrid working giving you the ability to work 3 days in the office and up to 2 days at home.
What does our Brand Manager do?
This varied role will see you carrying out a number of responsibilities including:
* Developing & owning your brand strategies across the World of Sweets channels, defining a clear role for each.
* Working with our Global Brand partners to manage and grow their brands with a clear joint business plan.
* Working with the category team to create compelling strategies for our customers to drive sell in and gain distribution of our brands and partner brands.
* Working with the Category, Product Development and Buying teams, ensuring effective product range management (including range rationalisation and identification of gaps within the range).
* Nurturing strong commercial relationships and influencing key stakeholders within the World of Sweets Group through high levels of communication, project delivery and product knowledge.
* Working with Product Development to ensure clear and effective communication of all project scope and deliverables needed to launch commercially viable products.
Who is the right person for this Brand Manager role?
The right person will have as many of the following skills and attributes as possible:
* Experience in brand and/or product management within a commercially focused FMCG business.
* The ability to manage the end-to-end product cycle.
* Be able to manage global brand partners.
* Have a proven track record of creative and customer focussed product launches within a B2C or B2B role.
* Have the ability to innovate and think creatively with experience in using category and shopper insights to formulate a clear brand strategy.
* The ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the business, with practical organisation and drive to deliver projects to completion.
