About the Opportunity
To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations, we currently have an opportunity for a Senior Nature Based Solutions Water Specialist to join our Water Catchment Management team in the UK.
1. You will be joining an experienced team of water specialists and ecologists who support projects to characterise, assess, enhance, restore and create habitats. Your responsibilities will include:
2. Developing hydro-ecological Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) and water balance assessments to support feasibility assessments as well as detailed design wetland solutions.
3. Providing specialist hydro-ecology technical expertise to deliver innovative and high standard solutions on wetland characterisation, assessment, enhancement, restoration, and habitat creation.
4. Leading on wetland technical project deliveries, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery within budget, and supporting in liaison with contractors and regulators.
5. Field-based work including hydrological-hydrogeological wetland surveys and monitoring, including training of juniors to undertake these surveys.
6. Supporting experienced project managers whilst working and/or leading as part of a multi-disciplinary wetland team.
7. Checking and reviewing technical reports.
8. Presenting information at meetings in a concise and effective manner.
