OUR STORY
Founded in 2016, DF Capital was born with a focus on distribution finance—providing dealers, distributors, and manufacturers with the funding they need to stock, display, and sell products without straining cash flow. Since then, we’ve delivered over £3.5bn of funding across diverse sectors. From motorhomes and machinery to motorbikes and lodges, we’ve financed all shapes and sizes of commercial vehicles and automobiles (no planes or trains—yet). We listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in 2019.

In 2020, we became a fully authorised bank, extending our offering with savings products for retail depositors. Requirements
The Retail Lending Operations Manager is an exciting new role, offering the unique opportunity to lead and shape the Lending Operations Team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of delivering a seamless activation and payout process for our customers and dealers, ensuring all documentation and requirements are met before completing any deal. Your contribution will be critical in supporting our growing consumer and business asset finance offerings. As this is a newly established team, you'll play a hands-on role in guiding your team through the daily activities and key milestones of our product launch. This is a chance to be part of something dynamic and impactful from the ground up.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
* Lead and inspire the Lending Operations team, ensuring a relentless focus on delivering exceptional service to customers and dealers with speed and efficiency.
* Manage day-to-day team activities, setting goals, providing regular 1:1s, and ensuring the team is equipped to handle customer needs quickly and effectively.
* Act as the first point of escalation, resolving queries and complaints with agility to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement, actively seeking out ideas to enhance processes and speed up service delivery.
* Ensure the team meets SLAs while maintaining the highest service standards and responding to customer needs without delay.
* Own the onboarding journey for new customers and dealers, being the go-to contact for our Asset Finance dealer network and ensuring smooth, fast activations.
* Keep clients informed in real-time about deal progress, offering proactive support and timely updates.
* Deliver actionable monthly performance insights to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and driving results.
* Engage with customers and dealers proactively, ensuring deals are completed swiftly while meeting all lending requirements.
* Collaborate with the Commercial team to refine offerings and quickly adapt to changing customer needs.
* Review and ensure the accuracy of asset documentation and checklists, maintaining fast and seamless processes for all lending activities.
* Build strong, personalised relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and expectations to deliver tailored solutions quickly.
* Work cross-functionally with Credit, Customer Services, and Onboarding teams to provide customers with an efficient, frictionless experience.
* Ensure full adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), executing tasks with agility and a focus on speed.
* Process inbound documentation swiftly and accurately, ensuring terms are met without delay.
* Create outbound documentation to confirm funding requests with customers and dealers promptly.
* Activate assets in the system, ensuring payments and contractual documentation are processed quickly within agreed SLAs.
* Analyse reconciliation breaks, working with Finance and Cash Operations to resolve issues and streamline processes for faster outcomes.
* Collaborate with internal teams to address processing delays and maintain seamless customer funding timelines, delivering market-leading service.
