About the role
Do you have a background in Creative Arts? Are you interested in gaining experience of working with children? We are looking for people to take their creative skills and use them to support children in a school environment.
You will build positive working relationships with pupils and utilise your knowledge of creative arts to help them get the most out of their time in education. As a Creative Arts Teaching Assistant, you will get a feel for working in schools and gain valuable experience for a potential future in a role working with children. The desired Creative Arts Teaching Assistant will be able to support the class teacher with a modified curriculum and ensure the students are engaged by using creative methods to support them.
Requirements
* A desire to work in Special Educational Needs Schools across Greater Manchester supporting pupils with barriers to learning, additional learning needs, or social, emotional and mental health needs.
* Relevant experience of working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
* A warm and friendly nature to build positive relationships with pupils.
* A creative arts background that you can incorporate into schools.
