deVOL Kitchens is one of the leading and most highly regarded kitchen companies in the UK, with manufacturing and design offices based in Leicestershire, London, Bath, and New York.
We are looking for a really friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable person to join our reception team at Cotes Mill in Leicestershire.
This role requires excellent communication skills as you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers calling or visiting Cotes Mill. You will also be part of a small team dealing with enquiries from the deVOL online shop.
You will be given some training in all aspects of this role, but a little experience in a customer-facing role would be beneficial if you have many of the other qualities we require.
As with all jobs at deVOL, a creative and innately helpful person is the most important attribute we look for.
Your job will involve, but is not limited to:
* Managing the main deVOL telephone line, taking and dealing with all enquiries, internal and external with skill and accuracy.
* Welcoming visitors to our showroom in Loughborough, helping them to enjoy their Cotes Mill experience to the full.
* Answering calls and emails relating to our online shop in an accurate and effective manner.
* Providing outstanding customer service in all aspects of this role.
* Handling gift and antique deliveries at Cotes Mill, taking payments and sending out brochures.
* Maintaining a high level of care and accuracy in all written work.
We would love you to:

* Have a keen eye for detail and be willing to take on various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office and showrooms.
* Have a minimum of GCSE Grades, A-C in Maths and English.
* Be well-presented.
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Have a keen interest in interiors, design, and customer service.
* Be responsible, alert, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a full-time role based at Cotes Mill and will include working two Saturdays per month.
We offer a salary of between £26,000 - £28,000 per year based on experience, and during your first year, you will receive training in the role and performance appraisals where your pay will be reviewed. After this, we offer annual pay reviews and continued support from the team.
You will receive 22 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays) which can increase with length of service and experience, as well as life insurance, a wellness program, cycle to work scheme, and company events.
