Job Title: Ward Manager (RMN) (CAMHS and Eating Disorders)

Job Description:
Working within one of the largest Mental Health Support Organisations in the UK. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Ward Manager to join a Private Independent Mental Health Hospital in Cheshire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Eating Disorders, and Mental Health Conditions. This role requires excellent management skills to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ward, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
2. Provide leadership and support to the nursing and healthcare team, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
3. Develop and implement care plans for patients with CAMHS, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions.
4. Monitor and evaluate patient care, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
5. Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
6. Manage staff rotas, recruitment, and performance evaluations.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
8. Promote continuous professional development and training for staff members.
9. Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by patients, families, or staff.
Requirements:
1. In order to be considered for this role, you must be RMN Qualified with an active NMC registration.
2. Significant experience in CAMHS, Eating Disorders, and Mental Health Conditions.
3. Proven management and leadership skills within a healthcare setting.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
6. Strong commitment to patient care and quality improvement.
