A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Civil Engineer to lead a thriving Civils infrastructure team in Hungerford. Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will take a pivotal role in overseeing the team's workload while promoting a culture of technical excellence and mentorship. This position involves working closely with esteemed clients and multidisciplinary professionals, including town planners, master planners, and architects, to deliver innovative and value-engineered solutions for a variety of development projects. Key Responsibilities ·Collaborating on project delivery with clients and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to technical and design standards. ·Overseeing the planning and design of deliverable packages for professional submission. ·Providing technical guidance on design software such as CAD, Autotrack, MicroDrainage, and Flow. ·Communicating project findings to stakeholders, including local authorities and members of the public. ·Managing project quality, finances, and resources while meeting deadlines and objectives. ·Supporting client relationships to secure repeat business and develop new opportunities. Person Specification The ideal candidate will possess: ·A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, with significant industry experience. ·Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside excellent numerical and analytical abilities. ·Comprehensive knowledge of applicable standards, including DMRB, Manual for Streets, and CIRIA SuDS. ·Proven experience in project management, including team leadership and resource planning. ·A full UK driving licence and the right to work and live in the UK.
