Job Description
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with menu specifications
* Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and nutritional balance
* Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and allergen awareness
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as required
* Support junior kitchen staff and help foster a positive team environment
* Work efficiently to ensure meal service runs smoothly and on time
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
* Level 2 or 3 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in an educational or contract catering setting (preferred but not essential)
