Core Hours - 10.00am - 4.00pm with some flexibility

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our client based in Chippenham.

Experience
1. Experience with Accountancy/Finance, either in an educational or practical setting when liaising with clients/other stakeholders is desirable, but not essential; Xero experience is also desirable
2. Individuals with a desire to pursue a career in accountancy/finance
3. VAT returns, self-assessments, and payroll experience are essential
Overview of Duties
1. Providing monthly bookkeeping for clients - using Xero and a suite of cloud-based applications
2. Posting month-end accounting journals such as prepayments & accruals
3. Leading on the running and submission of payroll for clients, and associated HMRC filings
4. Production and filing of VAT returns
5. Assisting clients with training and consultancy advice
6. Assisting with the production of monthly management reports
7. Reconciling balance sheet accounts periodically and maintaining clear supporting schedules
8. Identifying upselling opportunities of services to clients
9. Networking
10. Contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the team and processes
11. Becoming a trusted advisor to a range of clients
