Who we’re looking for
A member of staff to perform all the professional duties of a teacher under the direction of the Lead Teacher for Engineering and Assistant Principal. A Teacher of Design Technology (Product Design/ Engineering/Electronics or Graphics)
To be an outstanding classroom practitioner who consistently delivers the highest standards of teaching and embraces our vision of an integrated curriculum that ensures our students achieve the highest outcomes in Product Design and Engineering.

WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form in the West Midlands, serving students from the age of 14-18. The secondary school, situated in Solihull is a University Technical College (UTC), led by businesses and a university. Partners at WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull include The University of Warwick, WMG, National Grid, Rolls Royce and Jaguar Land Rover.
WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull opened in 2016. There is also another WMG Academy in Coventry, which opened in 2014. The Academy has purpose-built learning facilities, including dedicated engineering equipment and professional working spaces substituting classrooms.
