About the Role:
As a Childcare Tutor, you will be at the forefront of nurturing and developing the next generation of childcare experts. This role involves traveling across mult-sites in Northern Ireland to deliver courses and apprenticeships, and you will be responsible for guiding learners through City & Guilds Level 1, 2 & 3 Certificate in Introduction to Health and Social Care, Early Years, and Childcare.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivering high-quality training and education in childcare, including City & Guilds Level 1, 2 & 3 Certificate in Introduction to Health and Social Care, Early Years, and Childcare.
2. Providing comprehensive support and guidance to learners to help them achieve their educational and career goals.
3. Participating actively in enrolment, monitoring, and assessment processes.
4. Creating and implementing individualised learning plans for learners.
5. Acting as a mentor and guide, ensuring learners' success in their childcare journey.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
6. Minimum Level 2 or GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
7. A Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
8. Ideally but not essential a Teaching Qualification - Minimum Level 4 Certificate in Teaching (or willingness to work towards one).
9. 2+ years of experience working in a Childcare role in a pre-school/Nursery or similar setting.
10. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
11. A full clean driving license
12. Achievement of A1 Assessors Award (Desirable but not essential).
Please note if you have a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and at least 5+ years experience in a childcare setting and would like to become a tutor, we'd be keen to see your CV.
Location:
Our client has learners & apprentices right across Northern Ireland and we would do our best to assign you to learners within a distance you are happy to travel to. However for this course you will spend at least one day in Strabane, one day in Omagh and one day in Derry - Londonderry so being in a commutable distance is essential.
This is a Monday - Friday role, however if you are looking for part-time or flexible working schedule then we'd be happy to review your CV.
