We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Team Leader. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an independently run provider based in Norwich.
Our client provides residential care for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour in a small residential home based in Norwich.
THE ROLE
* Deputise for the Deputy Manager in their absence.
* Lead the staff team and support the development of the team.
* Be part of the on-call team.
* Work with the senior and group Managers to ensure compliance with all standards within the CQC framework and any audit processes.
* Ensure all care is being delivered according to the individual's care plan and maintain individuals' support and care plans.
* General day-to-day duties of the house and maintain health and safety and infection control measures.
* Ensure independence is always fully promoted.
* Assist individuals with meal preparations and other living skills to promote independence.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
* Experience of working within care services.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in a health-related topic.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Willingness to expand knowledge and undertake training.
* A passion for supporting young adults and encouraging independence.
* Good communicator with basic computer skills.
* Excellent commitment and reliability.
