My client, a world leading, high end beauty provider, require an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to join their global Supply Chain leadership team.
This role will lead the team to ensure the availability of finished goods throughout the network by developing a supply and inventory plan for products and/or vendors based on demand plans, lead-times, and available inventory.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the Supply Planning process flow to ensure timely and high-quality execution within the Global Supply Planning Team
* Set inventory policy, safety stock settings, and replenishment quantity, taking into account any constraints such as lead-time
* Manage and mitigate out-of-stock/supply risks
* Manage, mitigate, and report on Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory
* Negotiate with Vendors on costs and lead-times
* Support implementation and drive Supplier Collaborative Planning
* Support the on-time launch of NPD
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Experience/Skills:
* Proven track record in Supply/Production/Demand Planning management
* Experience in the FMCG market
* S&OP background
