What you will do:
1. Diagnose and treat ocular motility and vision function, along with binocular vision problems, for both adults and children, using your skills as an autonomous practitioner.
2. Collaborate with Head Orthoptists to address any treatment challenges that arise.
3. Develop and implement orthoptic treatment plans and care pathways for patients of all ages, ensuring comprehensive and individualized care.
4. Refer complex cases to Ophthalmologists as necessary, working in tandem to deliver the best patient outcomes.
5. Perform Visual Fields testing using Humphrey and Octopus perimeters, as well as conduct fundus photography and OCT for referred patients.
6. Screen patients at various satellite clinics, expanding your reach and impact within the community.
7. Join a dynamic and flexible team, striving together to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Minimum Requirements:
Being an Orthoptist requires registration with the HCPC, ensuring your qualifications are up to standard, while bringing your unique insights to our supportive team.
