Class Teacher- Truro Paid to scale Teaching Personnel are currently working with schools in the Truro area, and we are looking for KS2 Teachers to fill short-term & long-term cover. A Quick Overview Our schools are looking for teachers who are confident, creative, fun & adaptable, whilst still having excellent class management. You will teach across the curriculum, with focus on the core subjects, paired with partaking in pastoral and administrative duties. Some Duties & The Ideal Candidate Experience working with primary pupils Build & maintain effective, informative, relationships with parents/guardians Plan & deliver the teaching programme, ensuring it is adaptive to each class/student Regularly set ambitious, yet achievable targets for pupils - monitoring progress and attainment closely Salary & Working Hours The rate of pay will depend on experience, but Teaching Personnel can guarantee a price match to the appropriate scale– ensuring your trust in us representing you. Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm) Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections and parent consultations. Qualification & Vetting The successful candidate will be required to show proof of appropriate qualification for the post (UK QTS certification) and ECT’s are welcome to apply. Successful candidates must provide details (when requested) of appropriate referee’s and consent to being subject to ‘Child Only’ DBS checks as per our vetting procedures.
