Are you an Insurance Compliance professional with experience gained in an insurer or broker?
If so, then we have a super opportunity we feel you cannot let pass you by and can offer you a career defining move to join a specialist provider of employee benefits with a strong presence in the employee benefits market.
A forward-thinking Insurance firm, based in Sevenoaks, is now seeking to replace someone who is leaving the business, to come on board to manage the company's compliance, working with an external compliance consultant.
Your role will be to ensure the effective management of the company's compliance and internal reporting functions, whilst also supporting the MD with operational activities and projects.
Main Duties:
1. Implementation and delivery of the compliance monitoring plan
2. Compliance reporting, including consumer duty
3. Identifying, monitoring and mitigating compliance risks, including emerging risks
4. Delivering compliance training for staff
5. Maintaining compliance business processes, policies and documentation
6. Complaints management
7. Production of board & committee reports in relation to compliance matters
8. Internal operational reporting & analysis
9. Providing operational support for projects, including system testing
We would be keen to speak to you if you have the appropriate compliance experience gained in an insurer, MGA or B2B General Insurance broking environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Insurance compliance experience is essential, and they would also be keen for you to have experience in CASS 5 client money (though they are happy to train you on this as long as you have the compliance experience in your locker). You will also ideally have your Dip CII.
Salary and Benefits:
In return, the salary on offer is £40-50k base salary depending on experience. There is also a very generous benefits package on offer, which includes:
* DC pension scheme (12.5% employer, 5% employee contributions)
* Life assurance cover (4 x salary)
* Income protection (55% of salary + pension contributions)
* 25 days annual holiday to start
* Free on-site parking
* Private health cover for employees at employer cost
