Senior Business Support Officer (2 available positions) - Housing Standards Team
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Business Support. We are looking to appoint two Full Time Senior Business Support Officers to support the Housing Standards Team, which aims to improve Housing Standards ensuring our portfolio of council owned housing is well maintained and meets all regulatory and legislative standards.
Ideally, you will have a background in Customer Services and knowledge of housing regulations and landlord duties. The role will involve dealing with tenants on the phone, booking repair appointments, service enquiries, processing purchase orders, and invoices.
You will support the Improvements team, involved in voids refurbishments and adaptations, as well as the construction team, supporting in new construction and major refurbishment projects. Additionally, you will support the Compliance, Capital, and Contracts team with projects, ensuring support is provided in respect of delivery within suppliers and contractors.
You will support Team Leaders and Managers on service transition projects including quality checking and collating data. To be successful, you must have good keyboard skills and experience in Word, Excel, Databases, and Outlook.
You must also have good literacy and numeracy skills, be able to prioritise your own workload, be conscientious, well-organised, and have the ability to work independently whilst part of a small team. Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
