Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Fleet and Asset Manager to oversee the management and optimisation of their unique and extensive fleet of agricultural vehicles, machinery, and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading national business dedicated to sustainability and operational excellence.
In this role, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for fleet optimisation and procurement including asset acquisition, replacement strategies, and cost effectiveness. You will develop and implement strategies to enhance fleet performance while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and cross-functional business units to achieve strategic outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in fleet management, preferably within an aligned industry. A strong understanding of agricultural machinery, asset maintenance, and regulatory compliance is absolutely essential. Excellent technical knowledge and a background in machinery would be ideal, coupled with strong organisational and analytical skills.
Degree qualified in Logistics, Procurement, or similar experience, or a trade in Mechanics or similar would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will also have experience with asset management software such as GearBox, MEX, or equivalent.
