Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to work within the NHS in Peterborough. This is a full-time, temporary agency contract, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Pay Rate: £27.00 Ltd (Umbrella) per hour
Location: Peterborough
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Role Overview:
The post holder will hold a caseload of clients, working closely with service users and their carers to develop and implement care and safety plans. They will regularly update risk assessments and ensure that individual needs and preferences are central to all decisions made. Support and advice will be available through daily MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) input.
Key Responsibilities:
Draw up and maintain care and safety plans in collaboration with service users and carers.
Regularly update risk assessments and manage identified risks appropriately.
Assess and refer clients to other disciplines or external agencies as needed.
Ensure assessments and care plans respect the individual's dignity, wishes, and beliefs.
Develop and implement crisis plans tailored to the needs and preferences of the individual.
Deliver care, treatment, and assessments in line with legislation, policies, and procedures.
Record and escalate any unmet needs or resource issues identified during assessments.
Apply relevant aspects of the Mental Health Act, adhering to the Code of Practice and Trust policies.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, clients, visitors, and staff in line with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
Experience working in community mental health settings.
Enhanced DBS check for adults (issued within the last 12 months or registered with the Update Service).
Strong communication, risk assessment, and care planning skills.
