Please note this role is for Night Shifts.
12 hour shifts
4 days on, 4 days off.
The rate will be x1.33 for weekday nights, x1.5 for Saturdays, 2x for Sundays.
We are working on an infrastructure upgrade programme to support the MOD's future requirements in relation to both its warship and submarine programme.
This is an on-site role and all candidates must have a UK Passport and have worked in the UK for the last five years.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead a multi-discipline team and coordinate with other functions to safely execute the site construction works.
2. Demonstrate excellent awareness of CDM, construction and health and safety legislation.
3. Chair and control stakeholder and supplier meetings at a senior level.
4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders including facility personnel, vendors, and sub-contractors.
5. Manage large scale and/or multiple projects.
6. Show great awareness of procedural importance and demonstrate a wider understanding of nuclear safety and the management of design intent.
7. Integrate programs and delivery methods across the wider business.
8. Author construction management process.
9. Author construction management strategy for MIP SRC.
10. Develop and mentor construction delivery team.
11. Integrate MIP 10 Dock wider business strategy across multiple programmes.
12. Champion safety culture and introduction of construction site rules.
13. Write and complete SQEP assessments for construction roles.
14. Interface with wider MIP construction delivery teams.
15. Feed into project programmes, design reviews, and contract scope documents.
16. Manage a portfolio of project programmes and support stakeholders to deliver.
Essential Qualifications:
1. 10 Years or more construction experience.
2. OND, HND, Degree or equivalent, working for membership of a recognised construction-related professional body.
3. SMSTS.
4. CSCS Card.
Desirable:
1. SC or DV Clearance.
