The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in sales within financial services, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, and a deep understanding of the payments industry. This individual will be responsible for shaping the sales strategy, expanding market share, and achieving revenue targets. Key Responsibilities: - Sales Strategy Development: Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and meet revenue targets, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall objectives. - Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, setting performance goals and developing team capabilities to drive optimal results. - Business Development: Identify, pursue, and close high-value deals with key clients in the financial services sector, focusing on payments solutions for mid-to-large-sized businesses. - Market Expansion: Strategically target and expand into new markets within the payments space, maximizing sales opportunities and building long-term client relationships. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Compliance teams to align sales initiatives with product offerings, ensuring competitive positioning and regulatory compliance. - Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs, monitor team performance, and report on sales metrics, using insights to improve strategies and address areas of underperformance. - Revenue & Growth: Drive revenue growth by implementing scalable sales practices, upselling and cross-selling solutions, and managing large accounts to support sustainable growth.
