Oakleaf Partnership are supporting a business in Leeds who are taking their HR function to the next level. They require a HR Consultant with leadership development/coaching experience to support key stakeholders in developing their strategic awareness and aid the development of key people strategies aligning with the business objectives. A wonderful leadership opportunity to ensure HR is leading and driving engagement of cultural values and framing the wider business picture.
What is the role?
As an HR Consultant, you will work closely with the business’ senior HR leader to coach and develop them to think and work more strategically. You will work to build their credibility with exec teams and senior leaders and help to create that voice and position within the management team. This is ultimately a technical skills coach role that will involve some soft-skill coaching. There will be three key areas of focus:
1. Creating people strategies that are effective and aligned with company values.
2. Looking at the values and how they are lived within the business.
3. Organisation design to include job classification (levelling) and structures within the business.

Candidate profile/experience
This HR Consultant will have previously been part of a senior leadership team, with strong experience developing people strategies, road maps, job classifications, and organisation structures. They will also have excellent communication skills and previous experience in a coaching dynamic. No coaching qualifications are required.
