A fantastic opportunity for an organised and experienced Financial Administrator to join a highly reputable business founded over 20 years ago.
Professional Financial Centre Cumbria Ltd is a local Chartered Financial Planning firm based in Penrith. Working directly with clients, and in conjunction with local solicitors and accountants, we provide holistic financial planning and look to develop a strategy tailored to our clients’ individual needs. We specialise in advising clients wishing to adopt a sustainable / ethical approach to investing, with over 25% of the funds we manage being invested in “ESG” strategies.
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who has a passion to develop their career within financial services. Your role will be vital to PFC as you will help to support our clients’ needs throughout their relationship with us and assist our Paraplanners and Financial Planners in arranging and preparing for client meetings and overseeing the administrative operations of the office.
Day to Day Role:
* Answer and deal with telephone calls / post and greeting clients in the office.
* Working alongside the Paraplanners and Financial Planners to arrange and prepare for client meetings.
* Using a variety of investment platforms and IT systems to administer the client review process.
* Ensuring accuracy of client records, data entry and managing client files.
* Taking ownership of tasks to be completed within specified timescales.
The Required Skills:
* Experience of Financial Administration within an IFA or Wealth Management environment is desirable.
* Familiarity with major research systems such as Intelligent Office, FE Analytics etc would be advantageous.
* Fully competent in desktop applications, (proficient in Microsoft Word. Excel and Outlook).
* Good literacy and numeracy skills with ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.
* Ability to communicate professionally and clearly whilst maintaining and developing professional relationships.
