PMP are currently looking to recruit a Project Engineer to work within the existing team and expand our current capabilities.

As a Project Engineer, you will report to the Delivery/Project Manager(s) and will be responsible for the delivery of MEICA and Minor Civils based projects within our current frameworks with Yorkshire Water & United Utilities, expanding into Severn Trent Water.
You will provide Engineering expertise from a Mechanical/Electrical perspective, delivering schemes from inception to completion. The role will include undertaking the following:
* Site Surveys, visiting sites to understand the requirements as laid down in tender enquiries/scoping documents.
* Providing regular updates on progress (time, cost, and quality) to the Programme Manager and other key internal and external stakeholders.
* Supporting the capture of asset changes (decommissioning, alteration, creation) in the relevant corporate systems.
* Raising Early Warning Notices and Change Requests when required if projects incur delays in time or increases in cost to the Programme Manager.
You will facilitate the day-to-day delivery aspects of the Projects supported by the Site Delivery teams and manage the teams to deliver the projects.
You will be client-facing and will be required to further develop collaborative working relationships throughout the delivery of the projects.
You may occasionally need to lodge away from home due to the wide spread of locations for the client base.
As the Project Engineer, your duties & responsibilities will include:
* Facilitating project delivery from inception through to completion.
* Delivering projects against programme and in line with budget.
* Ensuring the project is delivered on track with high-quality outputs.
* Accountability for safeguarding our customers whilst working on Waste Water Projects, ensuring the appropriate hygiene requirements are put in place while implementing appropriate health and safety measures.
* Accountable for risk management of projects, ensuring mitigation measures are implemented for safe delivery during the project and for safe use by the end user once the project is complete.
* Ensuring projects are delivered to industry and client standards.
* Undertaking meetings with stakeholders and attending meetings as required.
* Managing the delivery team to focus on efficiency and innovation to support safe, efficient project delivery.
* Carrying out health and safety audits for operative teams.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
* ONC Qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* First Aid.
* SMSTS.
* EUSR Water Hygiene.
* EUSR Water Passport.
* Medium Risk Confined Space.
