We are looking for passionate, dynamic SEN Teaching Assistants to help support a classroom, working with various needs and providing support and interventions. You will be working as either a one-to-one or supporting the classroom.
All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Support students with varying SEN needs, providing tailored support and interventions based on individual EHCPs.
* Implement group or 1:1 interventions to support pupils who have emotional or social barriers to learning.
* Establish constructive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
* Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
Requirements:
* Currently hold Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one).
* Experience managing challenging behaviours, adapting approach to individual behaviour support.
* Experience working with children, ideally SEN.
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
* A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
