Job Description
• Seek a dedicated and proactive IPS Employment Specialist to support individuals with mental health conditions and other complex barriers to secure and sustain competitive employment.
• This role follows the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) employment model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individualized employment planning with participants.
• Develop and implement employment plans tailored to participants' needs and goals.
• Build relationships with local employers to increase employment opportunities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless support.
• Monitor and evaluate participants' progress, making adjustments to employment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports.
Requirements:
• Relevant degree in a field such as social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IPS employment or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Working Environment:
• Full-time, permanent position.
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays, local government pension scheme.
• Grange-over-Sands/South Lakes location.
