JOB MISSION
The Brand & Business Development Manager - New Spirits Dark will be leading the development of Whistle Pig, Sir Davis and Eminente in the UK. In alignment with the Maison's vision and guidelines and the broader Moët Hennessy U.K. strategy, they are responsible for development of effective individual brand plans, commercial strategy and the planning and implementation of marketing activations across all channels and touch points. They will at all times act as Brand Ambassador vis-a-vis trade partners, press, VIPs and other friends of the brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
STRATEGY
1. Lead the development of a clear annual brand plan, defining strategic choices to meet brand and business targets and in line with Spirits Team (Global MH and Maison's) strategy. Support the choices with defined KPI's.
2. Work closely with the Head of Spirits to influence Maison strategies and align on UK strategic direction short-, medium- and long-term strategies.
3. Collaborate with the Insights Team to maintain ongoing awareness of consumer insights, trends and competitors, disseminating the insights into action to inform activity and share with key stakeholders.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
1. Ensure the brands distribution across all strategic channels and customers (significant on-trade emphasis) in the UK, identifying growth areas.
2. Proactively scout for new commercial opportunities to enhance sales performances in new and existing customers.
3. Work with Commercial Planning and Revenue Growth Management teams to identify strong revenue and profit opportunities to fuel commercial plans.
4. Work with the U.K. Demand & Supply Planner and Logistic/Supply Chain to monitor inventory and ensure smooth supply chain.
BRAND MANAGEMENT
1. Inspired by the global brand platforms, curate elevated local experiences using 360 thinking, that resonate with the brand DNA and purpose.
2. Craft exceptional experiences that surprise and delight our customers and consumers, delivering excellence from concept creation to implementation and evaluation.
3. Develop and execute channel-relevant and consumer-centric activities that drive rate of sale or support key visibility opportunities of the highest quality execution.
4. Oversee POSM orders, management, and usage, including regular strategic reviews of inventory. Design and develop local elevated tools and brand assets as necessary.
5. Ensure all programs are delivered on time, within agreed budget and to the expected level of excellence in accordance with the brand values.
ADVOCACY & EDUCATION
1. Act as a brand champion, the face of the Maison's in the market. Responsible for communication and custodianship of brand and products both internally and externally.
2. Leverage personal connections to influence relevant trade and media communities to fuel the brands growth.
3. Regularly spend time in the trade, forging robust relationships with customers ensuring the brands presence and market recognition.
4. Educate internally and externally, utilising credibility of personal knowledge and experience in spirits, cocktail, and UK drinks industry.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
1. Monitor brand performance using sales, financial, market and consumer data and recommend appropriate action where required.
2. Evaluate and report back on performance and ROI of each program, identifying learnings and future optimisations.
3. Manage brand A&P budget on a monthly basis ensuring effective and accurate budget management including administration of all invoices, monthly accruals and budget trackers.
4. Work with Sales, Commercial Planning, Revenue Growth Management and Finance teams to deliver insightful business reviews for the Maisons.
5. Deliver monthly sales reporting including all commercial analytics, monthly sales performance and marketing activity.
STAKEHOLDERS
1. Establish and maintain a solid, trustworthy relationship with key Maison and Global (HQ) Spirits team) and MH EMEA stakeholders.
2. Inspire, motivate, and manage excellent working relationships with all cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure timely excellence in delivery of agreed projects and follow-up on reporting of performance and key learnings.

Fluent English
Professional experience:
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in either spirits marketing / UK drinks industry.
Required skills:
Understanding of brand strategy development in a commercial context.
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Entrepreneurial, passionate, and creative with a drive for innovation and seizing opportunities.
Proactive and solution driven with strong sense of perseverance & resilience.
Organised and structured, capable of dealing with several tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision making.
An inherent passion for spirits, cocktail culture and exciting and dynamic UK bar scene.
Other skills:
Valid driving license and willingness to travel intensively across the UK.
WSET Spirits Level 2/3, or relevant sommelier/trade experience, is a plus.
Positive, can-do attitude and good team player.
