We are offering a Full-time permanent contract (working Monday to Friday, excluding holiday from 9am â 5pm) for a Ward Clerk to join our 20 bedded Cardiology unit to provide an effective admin/clerical service.
The Cardiology Unit is a General medical Ward which has a speciality in caring for Patients with Acute and complex Cardiac conditions. You will undertake duties as a member of a multidisciplinary team; which includes doctors, nurses, porters and housekeepers to provide an effective frontline service in the day to day running of the hospital.
You will need to have NHS experience and be enthusiastic about patient care, with the ability to work in a flexible and supportive manner. You will also require excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. IT and data entry plays a vital part of this role so you will need to be an efficient administrator with proven reception and telephone experience.

* To record all patient information on the confidential computer system accurately and in âreal-timeâ.
