The successful candidate will work as part of the Centralised Outpatient team and will focus attention on development of specific speciality competencies required to meet the service need. The role requires post holder to be able to undertake other duties to meet the changing needs and priorities of the Trust and service. This may include seven days working, evenings, weekends and bank holidays on any trust premises. Main duties of the job Support specialist areas within Centralised Outpatients with the competency based skills required for the specialty. To promote and deliver patient centred care aligned with the Trust vision and Nursing and Midwifery strategy. To support a continuously improving service, in line with the clinical governance framework, Trust objectives and the NHS Performance framework including digital technology. To continually develop professionally to ensure the post holder has the appropriate level of skill, knowledge and competence to meet the service/specialty requirements. To help maintain a clean and safe department. Contribute to managing stock levels and ordering stock appropriately Maintains effective communication with patients, carers, relatives and staff.
