The Facilities Management service is looking for an enthusiastic mobile cleaner who has access to suitable transport in order to reach specified sites at agreed times (mornings and afternoons).
You will be required to work between the hours of 6.00am to 8.00am or 3.15pm to 5.15pm. These hours may vary within these times to meet operational needs. Some additional time may be required to meet the needs of the site. You must have access to suitable transport for work, and a mileage allowance will be paid for travel from your allocated work base to site. An appropriate and clean driving license is essential, and a taxi service will be provided where disability precludes this.
Experience in facilities management is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
The role will require regular communication with Management officers who will update you daily on the site destination required. Good standards of customer care and communication are key requirements.
Appointment to this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
