Are you a full or part qualified accountant who has developed their knowledge through experience within a finance setting? We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual, with an interest in developing their career in accountancy to join our friendly Finance team, supporting teams across the organisation. The successful candidate will have a wealth of knowledge in finance and want a career within Local Government.
You will have experience of working in a finance environment, not necessarily within local government, and you will have good oral and written communication skills, the ability to analyse financial information and experience in the use of financial management systems.
It is essential that the post holder is Part CCAB Qualified and has a minimum of 5 GCSE’s, or equivalent qualifications, including Maths and English. We are looking for an individual who is organised and motivated to learn and progress within this role whilst contributing to working within a team. They must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
