We have excellent opportunities for assembly workers to work for an aerospace company based in Farnborough, please see further details below: Roles: Mechanical Assemblers & Electro-mechanical Assemblers Location: Farnborough, Hampshire Duration: 12 month contracts Rates: £13.81 - £18/hour Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:00, Friday 07:00-13:00 (Flexible) Mechanical Assembler The Ideal candidate will have worked on both soldering and Electromechanical Assemblies. If you have proven experience with working with sensors within a manufacturing Facility - we would like to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: By following Drawings, assemble, test and inspect products in line with production requirements. Duties may include: assembly/manufacture of components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies of production and/or development products inspection and testing of products including operation of automatic test equipment responsibility for self-inspection thereby requiring high levels of accuracy and quality of work You will be trained in some of the following operations: welding, brazing, coil winding, encapsulation, soldering and machine operation Qualifications/Experience of the Assembly Operator Must meet stringent Visual Acuity standards including colour blindness and depth perception. Must have previous experience within a similar assembly environment and have proven mechanical or electrical skills. Staff are responsible for self-inspection so a high level of accuracy and quality of work is essential. This Assembly Operator role requires the ability to work to processes and procedures and meet the required performance targets.
