We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join a long-established and growing Engineering business in Liverpool. Excellent working environment and benefits.
The successful Sales Engineer will be key to the continual growth of the business. Using telephone techniques and backed up by direct and electronic marketing, the Sales Engineer will be a well organised determined individual who will assist the General Manager by prospecting and arranging face to face sales meetings and opportunities for Sales team.
The company offer an attractive salary circa £45,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience) plus company car, pension, bonus 2% commission on all new sales for the first 6 months. Thereafter there is a £10k annual bonus for achieving turnover (paid quarterly) and an uncapped 1.5% of equipment sales subject to an agreed target being reached.
Key Responsibilities:
-Maximise sales of all the companies services into existing customers and prospective customers
-Implement Marketing Schedule as directed by the General Manager.
-Creation of marketing information and send to prospects and customers
-Locating and calling prospects to make appointments
-Identify key drivers for customers
-Sell all services into existing accounts
-Monitor sales revenues for customers and act to maximise sales
-Weekly reporting
Skills & Experience Required:
-Previous experience in a similar sales & marketing environment
-Knowledge / experience of static and dynamic balancing and balancing machines.
-Excellent customer service skills
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-Understanding of electro-mechanical engineering an advantage
