The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in cultivating and managing strategic accounts within the industrials and transport verticals. This role is instrumental in driving our growth and reinforcing our commitment to cybersecurity excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Targeted New Business Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive target account strategy to win new strategic clients within the industrials and transport verticals, aligning with NCC’s business goals and objectives.
2. Client Relationship Management: Win new clients then build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, serving as a trusted adviser and consultant on cybersecurity solutions and best practices. This role will initially nurture the relationship with new clients before handing over to Account Management and Customer Success.
3. New Business Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, understanding client needs, and aligning our cybersecurity solutions with their evolving requirements.
4. Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging threats within the industrials and transport sectors to position our company as a leader in industrial cybersecurity. Understand the relevant regulatory landscape and any market conditions that will drive the imperative to focus on cybersecurity improvements.
5. Solution Customisation: Collaborate with internal technical and solutions teams to tailor our cybersecurity offerings to meet the unique needs of each client. Understand the specific market needs in the Industrials sector and build solutions that resonate with new customers in Industrials and help them to meet their cybersecurity goals.
6. Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and NCC group, while maintaining profitability.
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, marketing, and delivery teams, to deliver exceptional service and solutions to our clients.
8. Generating New Business Opportunities: Create content to support new business development campaigns to continue to position NCC Group as a thought leader in Industrials adding value to prospects in the Industrial sectors to build trust and confidence in order to win new business.
9. Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and account plans to communicate progress and opportunities to senior management.
10. Customer Satisfaction: Continuously monitor and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns proactively.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven track record in business development and account management within the cybersecurity industry.
* Strong understanding of CNI sectors and cybersecurity challenges within these industries.
* Demonstrated success in selling complex cybersecurity solutions to strategic clients.
* Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in understanding and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
* A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, as needed.
