I am working with an organization who are looking for a Valuer to join their team who are based in the Gloucester area. You will be contributing to the delivery of the disposal programme by visiting properties and land and providing valuations. They would like someone who has knowledge of the property market and previous experience in sale of property and land transactions. You must be RICS qualified for this role the company have requested. Within this role you will receive support with qualifications and progression opportunities.
The salary for the Valuer role is £36,000 - £42,000.
Responsibilities of the Valuer role:
1. Be able to provide valuation advice on a wide range of property types.
2. To regularly update the Disposal Manager on sales and pipeline opportunities.
3. Provide advice on the best way of sale for land and properties.
4. To prepare properties to be ready for sale by conducting visits, providing valuations and valuation reports.
5. To liaise with the Disposal Team, Auction Houses, Estate Agents and Land Agents.
6. Coordinating preparation of property particulars and arranging photos, floorplans and collateral.
Skills needed in the Valuer role:
1. Good working knowledge of relevant legislation and RICS valuation standards.
2. Experience in valuation and condition reporting would be desired.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. RICS Registered Valuer.
5. Ability to manage a large number of transactions at once.
6. Accurate in recording and updating records.
