Account Manager

Excellent opportunity for an Account Manager to join Sharp’s IT Services Business.
You will proactively own & manage our client's relationship and experience, whilst penetrating our clients with products & services from our catalogue which they might find useful or valuable to better enable their businesses use of technology.
The account base is in and around the Birmingham area.
Salary + uncapped commission + car allowance.
We are looking for a highly motivated and engaging Account Manager looking to move into the IT Services. Previous experience in IT services is not essential.
Objectives:
1. Maintain regular proactive contact with clients and colleagues to build strong relationships and uncover opportunities.
2. Hold account management meetings with clients, engaging other internal teams as appropriate to enhance and add value to client experience.
3. Recommend products & services to our clients that they might find useful/valuable to better enable their businesses use of technology.
4. Utilise tools & systems to build quotations, manage opportunities and convert them into wins.
5. Welcome new clients and colleagues to our service to educate them to the value it can add for them.
6. Prepare accurate forecasts to enable the local team to deliver against requirements & the business to report & resource appropriately.
Person Specification:
1. Account Manager with account development experience.
2. Consultative sales approach.
3. Commercially aware.
4. Willingness and enthusiasm to learn.
5. Strong desire to achieve sales targets.
6. Confidence and competence when speaking to a range of clients.
7. Great telephone manner and customer service skills.
8. Computer proficiency and aptitude to learn new systems quickly.
9. Attention to detail.
10. Approachable and collaborative.
