Job Title: Account Manager : Manned Guarding

We are seeking an experienced Manager to be responsible for a portfolio of Customers across the Thames Valley to manage all elements of Security to include Manned Guarding, Mobile Patrols and Keyholding. The ideal applicant will have previous knowledge of managing a portfolio of Manned Guarding customers and Security teams involved in the provision of service.
You will be responsible for a manageable portfolio of sites (between 15 and 20) ensuring all security teams are managed effectively and that all aspects of service provision and customer liaison is completed to a high level and in line with the British Standards.
You will be responsible for:
* Ensuring all security teams are correctly managed, trained and equipped
* Recruitment of Security Officers as required
* Appraising Security Officers on an annual basis and undertaking Three Month Competency Reviews
* Managing our patrol monitoring system and providing reports as and when required
* All aspects of customer engagement including contract negotiations
* Undertaking surveys, risk assessments and assignment instructions
* Quarterly key checks
* Developing additional opportunities in and outside your portfolio
* The planning and management of effective rosters to ensure contractual cover is in place at all times by suitably trained personnel
* Incident planning with customers in relation to their policies and procedures
* Providing security advice where appropriate
* Management of contractors and suppliers relevant to your portfolio
You will report directly to the Senior Operations Manager and due to the structure of the company will also work closely with our Operations Director and Managing Director.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 : due to the nature of our industry and the role, there will always be a requirement to work other hours to ensure the activities of the business are met. As an example, this will require you to work late some days, arrive early and weekends where there is a need.
We operate a duty manager rota where you will be the first point of contact for out of hours incidents that may require management or escalation. This will be required for one week every four weeks.
A fully expensed company car is provided.
