Resourcing and Attraction Coordinator

The role is site officebased with the possibility of working from home 1 day a week, working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG environment, working Monday – Friday 37.5hrs per week.
What will you be doing as a Resourcing and Attraction Coordinator at Avara?
The Resourcing and Attraction Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering effective internal attraction and communication strategies that enhance internal colleague engagement, promote company benefits, promote and support internal and external career opportunities and support our company brand and EVP.
The role focuses on fostering an inclusive, well-informed, and engaged workforce by ensuring that communication is accessible and open to a diverse audience and aligned with our employer brand and values.
In addition to managing digital content creation and supporting inclusive communication, this role demands creativity, strong collaboration, and the ability to craft messages and communication for a wide diverse internal and external audience.
What will your key responsibilities as Resourcing and Attraction Coordinator include?
Resourcing, Employer Branding and Attraction Engagement:
* Support the Resourcing Team to promote internal and external career opportunities via social media and internal communication channels such as MyAvara and Internal Careers Website
* Lead and support attraction activities for the resourcing team – including governance and pulling together of any digital media or physical materials needed to support at events
* Coordinate inclusive and accessible content for promotion of our career’s pathways and opportunities, focusing on digital needs – materials, online video and digital content such as testimonials
* With collaboration from the Resourcing and Wider HR team, support an inclusive scheduled content calendar to engage with internal and external audiences and promote career development opportunities, events and CSR
* Promote internal colleague testimonials, achievements and good news stories and showcase our employer brand and values
* Review current materials currently in use and identify areas for improvement looking at what is out there in wider industry and suggest what is needed / could be adapted – digital and physical materials
* Ensure career pathways are robust and inclusive to be shared with internal and external audiences i.e. apprenticeship pathways
* Partner with the Resourcing team to ensure governance of the careers website to ensure its aligned to our EVP, Employer Brand and promote our opportunities inclusively.Update and maintain relevant content annually and review on quarterly basis
Support Internal People Communication:
* Support the internal communications strategy to inform and engage employees about our company benefits, career opportunities and any further HR people related initiatives
* Ensure all communication is inclusive and accessible, considering language and cultural differences, and diverse needs and ensuring it aligns with our brand, values and tone of voice
* Create templates, tone of voice and resources that help ensure consistent, inclusive messaging across all departments and can empower local site teams to engage and communicate locally
* Work closely with HR, Ops and IT Teams to ensure communication efforts are aligned with current business priorities and needs
* Coordinate and help support communication of internal events, campaigns, and initiatives that align to our values and employer brand i.e. Wellbeing and DEI Initiatives, Employee Forums
* Support development and rollout of tools, templates and communications framework to equip teams and key stakeholders to communicate effectively
* Act as a mentor or resource for team members, helping them create and share messages that adhere to the company’s standards for tone, inclusivity, and style.
Digital Content Creation:
* Lead the creation of digital content (videos, graphics, posters etc) to support internal communication needs via appropriate channels i.e. Physical Site Toolkits, social media, MyAvara
* Ensure the digital content is inclusive, engaging, accessible and within our employer brand guidelines
* Continuously innovate digital content strategies to enhance employee experience, considering the audience and range of accessibility methods for all Avara users
* Lead on ensuring we have the right photos and media library to provide up to date, inclusive and appropriate photos for attraction and internal use
What you’ll need to be successful as Resourcing and Attraction Coordinator?
Experience and Qualifications:
* Ideally a degree or higher level apprenticeship in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, digital content creation, or a similar role.
* Experience with internal HR / People related messaging and employee engagement and benefits is an advantage.
Skills:
* Strong digital content creation skills, with the ability to create content based on our EVP, values and brand - including video, graphic and powerpoint.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen focus on inclusivity and accessibility.
* Knowledge of internal communication tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams).
* Ability to develop communication resources, templates, and style guides for internal use without little guidance and following brand guidelines.
