Nature of the job role: I am looking for someone to help me plan what to eat and to provide me with encouragement when I am finding it difficult to think about my meals. Rather than hiring someone to do this work for me, I am looking for a person who will work alongside me to provide me with support.
Main Duties:
You would need to be able to commit to 15 minutes for a telephone call with me 6 days per week, Monday-Sunday, except for one day when we will work together for 90 minutes to organise and clean the kitchen in greater depth.
I am able to cook and clean in the kitchen and don’t need someone else to do this for me. However, I might need you to encourage me to get started. I do find food stressful to think about and sometimes find myself unable to eat without another person providing some support each day.
Hours of work: 3 hrs per week (one 90-minute visit and six 15-minute phone calls).
-One 15-minute phone call per day - 6 days a week.
-One 90-minute-visit – 1 day a week (which day can be negotiated).
All telephone calls are to take place between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. Exact times can be negotiated with the employer.
Qualifications: None required, but any relating to the job would be beneficial.
