Aspgate, a forward-thinking MSP established in 2019, are looking for an enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join them on their journey, learning from experts and working with cutting-edge solutions to meet those demands!
As an IT Apprentice at Aspgate, you'll provide vital technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including WindowsOS and application errors. You'll assist with Active Directory management, analyse and resolve network connectivity problems, and use SCCM for software deployment. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice looking to develop a long and illustrious career in the IT industry!
In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems related to Windows operating systems.
Assist users with Active Directory management, including user account creation, modification, and deletion.
Analyse and resolve network connectivity issues using TCP/IP protocols and computer networking principles.
Perform software troubleshooting to identify and rectify application errors or malfunctions.
Utilise SCCM for software deployment, updates, and inventory management.
Maintain documentation of support requests and resolutions using the Remedy ticketing system.
Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and enhance user experience.
Conduct regular maintenance on computer hardware to ensure optimal performances.
Make administrative changes to Azure M365 environments.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
£13,741 per annum.
Monday to Friday 35 hours per week.
On-site parking.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
Basic understanding of computer hardware.
Proficient in Windows Operating systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delviering high-quality support services.
Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths.
