Position: SEND Teacher Location: Uxbridge Contract Type: Full Time, Long Term Start Date: ASAP Salary: £800 – £1,200 per week

About the Role
We are thrilled to partner with an OFSTED-rated ‘Outstanding’ Special Needs School in Uxbridge, catering to children aged 3-19 years. Our school is dedicated to addressing four broad categories of need: communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, as well as sensory and/or physical needs. What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Overseas Teaching Certificate recognised by Naric.
* Experience working with students with SEND in mainstream or special educational settings.
* A patient, understanding, and flexible approach.
* Excellent communication skills.
* An existing DBS check on the update service.
* Experience with PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Rapid Prompting Method, and other augmentative and alternative communication approaches is advantageous but not essential.
Your Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver effective lessons tailored to individual EHCP plans.
* Conduct assessments and ensure the safeguarding of pupils.
* Collaborate with teaching and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for students.
* Foster independence and promote well-being and good welfare among students.
* Teach a diverse range of subjects, including Maths, English, PSHCE, World of Work, and PE.
