Job Overview
Our OEM client based in Gaydon is seeking a Durability & Robustness Test Integration Engineer to join their team, inside IR35. This is a 12-month initial contract until 31st March 2026, with potential extensions.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03/hour.
This role involves working within the Durability & Robustness and Towing attributes, interfacing between Programme Leads and various vehicle and rig test delivery functions. The focus is on integrating vehicle test activities into programmes, ensuring validation testing is completed to plan and quality standards.
Location & Work Environment
Primarily based in Gaydon, with a mix of in-office and test facility work. Occasional travel to other UK sites and Proving Grounds is required. The role demands flexibility, team collaboration, and resilience, with an expectation of 5 days/week in the office/test site, and remote work by agreement.
Key Skills and Experience
* Experience with engineering test activities.
* Knowledge of automotive technologies, systems, or products.
* UK or EU driving license.
* Experience with vehicle preparation and test facilities.
* Understanding of vehicle hardware and software systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and presentations.
* Full UK/EU driving license with less than 6 penalty points, no disqualifications, and a 2-year accident-free record.
