Division info: The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets. Summary of position: Role overview The Quality Inspector will work closely with the manufacturing teams at Runcorn and where relevant with Manufacturing Engineering, Design and Procurement Departments to facilitate the Non-conformance Management Process within specific project teams. This role will be focused on releasing Civil and Military components to the MRO and OE customer base. Main responsibilities: Key responsibilities (but not limited to): Ensuring compliance with standards from regulatory authorities Promoting improving quality standards by participating in continuous improvement initiatives Department procedures including technique sheets and standard operating procedures. Ensuring product conformity Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: Essentially 5 years Aerospace experience, ideally with exposure to a process environment operating under BSI standards Experience in quality systems including product controls, product validation, document control and generating.
