Working cross functionally, you will support several categories with the delivery of their commercial plan, maintaining a clear operational focus for stores and ensuring all commercial activity is devised with our stores in mind. You will need to have an understanding of key operational activity (such as Merchandising and Sales Plan) and have a passion for the delivery of these into our stores to an excellent operational standard. You will be responsible for working alongside the Store Planning team and Stores Communications team to ensure stores have all the relevant operational guidance and resource to complete all activity. This opportunity will enable you to work collaboratively within a dedicated team who are passionate and committed to delivering all in store activity simply and effectively in stores. Key responsibilities will include: Provide clear operational guidance and information for stores, central and field functions through cross-functional working Creation of engagement documents to help bring our commercial plan to life for stores Develop and maintain departmental and external cross-functional relationships Ensure all Commercial activity is planned with simplicity and stores in mind and is operationally fit for purpose Review prototypes of new display aids and showmaterial to ensure they are fit for purpose Continually review and evaluate all activity, ensuring any key insights are incorporated into future activity Establish strong relationships with buddy stores as part of fortnightly store visits Support the delivery of key NPD into stores, ensuring a simple operation and maximum compliance What you’ll need to have Knowledge of key Store Operational processes High standard of written and verbal communication Analytical thinking and problem solving Cross functional working and stakeholder management Confidence to drive change in a challenging and fast paced environment It would be great if you also have Experience with excel Experience of using Adobe InDesign Our benefits Boots Retirement Savings Plan Discretionary annual bonus Generous employee discounts Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a child Flexible benefits scheme including holiday buying, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and more.
