Requirements
* Clean Full UK driving license
* Clean Full Class 2 license
* A love for the open road and early starts (2am - 4am)
* Ability to lift and carry products with care
* A flexible and conscientious attitude to adjust to the needs of the business and deliver excellent results
Key Accountabilities
* To comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers
* To always drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards
* To apply SAFED driving techniques, in order to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency
* To comply with all Company delivery and collection procedures, e.g. picking from bulk order load, order adjustment, health and safety
* To comply with Company standards for customer service
* To report immediately to the FLM any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels
* To follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g. bread baskets, pallets, store returns and buffer stock.
* To comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications
* To carry out any duties, as required by the Company, e.g. unloading, refuelling and washing vehicles and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
