Principal Accountabilities:
* Configuration of finance system (Business Central) for group VAT return for 17 entities.
* Group statutory audit fieldwork and production of statutory accounts in house.
* Integration of any new company acquisitions into the group reporting structure (for monthly reporting, VAT, and statutory purposes).
* Harmonisation of finance processes across the existing 14 Power and Water business units.
* Continuous improvement of the finance system (Business Central) and training of finance team through reference to the finance manual.
* Cleansing of historic data and the categorisation of historic data using finance dimensions.
* Power BI report enhancements and training for management reporting purposes for the finance and non-finance teams across Ipsum.
* Production of dormant company accounts and filing of statutory annual returns.
* Producing technical papers for review by CFO in relation to VAT, CIS, revenue recognition and new finance systems and processes.
* Production of P11d’s across Ipsum for c600 employees.
* Reduce the month-end cycle from 21 days to 7 days in the long term.
* Working capital projects to improve WIP, reduce trade debtors and manage the trade creditors.
* Improve efficiencies around the production of the biannual payment practices report, which reports payments to suppliers across all Ipsum suppliers.
* Company-wide P11d support.
* Key customer reallocations on PowerBI.
* Consolidated file ownership.

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Full UK driving licence.
