Job Description
* Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate requirements.
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with site management to align financial plans with business objectives.
* Manage cost control by monitoring production expenses, overheads, and inventory valuation, identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
* Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies while strengthening financial controls and risk management.
* Provide financial insights and strategic support to site leadership, aiding decision-making and long-term planning.
* Lead and develop the site finance team, fostering collaboration across departments to drive financial and operational success.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should be or show:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
* Experienced in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management within a manufacturing or engineering (or similar) environment.
* Ability to go beyond compliance and reporting, providing proactive financial insights that drive business decisions.
* A proactive approach to identifying efficiencies, managing risks, and supporting a fast-paced, evolving business.
* Confident in presenting financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, working collaboratively across teams.
