About the Role: As a Graduate Growing Assistant, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in all aspects of modern fruit production. Working in Herefordshire, you’ll receive comprehensive training that includes: Irrigation Management: Learn advanced techniques for optimizing water use and plant growth. Crop Husbandry: Get hands-on experience in the day-to-day care of fruit crops, including best practices for cultivation. Pest and Disease Management: Gain knowledge in identifying and controlling crop diseases and pests. Planning Management: Understand how to plan and manage the growth cycle to maximize yield and quality. What We’re Looking For: 18 months to 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field. A keen interest in sustainable and innovative growing techniques. Enthusiasm for hands-on learning and development in a practical, outdoor environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges. Willingness to be based in Herefordshire.
