The ROLE
The Software Control Engineer will be part of a team delivering systems integration for projects mainly in the water industry. The minutiae of the role include:
1. Developing PLC (Rockwell & Siemens), HMI, and SCADA software
2. Participating in the whole project life cycle
3. Liaising with customers, suppliers, and the rest of your team
4. Performing testing with customers
5. Carrying out on-site commissioning
6. Hybrid working available
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a Control Systems Engineer with the following background:
1. Experience with PLC and SCADA/HMI platforms
2. Desire to learn new technologies
3. Background working with customers delivering projects
4. Good understanding of setting up, commissioning, and fault finding of industrial networks would be advantageous
5. Knowledge of the water sector
6. Enjoy working in a supportive team environment
7. Take pride in doing a good job
Package:
Salary depending on experience, hybrid working available, company pension scheme - match contributions up to 6%, 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, bonus scheme, profit share scheme, share scheme, etc.
Location: This role is commutable from: Southampton, Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Eastleigh, Gosport, Bournemouth, Poole, Andover, Fareham, Havant, Petersfield, Winchester.
