We offer diverse opportunities, including casual or part-time roles with the ideal candidate to be available across various shifts Monday to Friday as well as weekends, 7:00am - 5:00pm. The ideal candidate will be available to travel between Bribie Island and the Redcliffe Peninsula. Your responsibilities involve assisting clients in learning new skills, discovering hobbies, and achieving personal goals through wellness and community activities tailored to their unique preferences. Your compassionate care extends to providing social support, assistance with mobility, grooming, domestic assistance and other personal care tasks. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in transporting clients to community and social events or medical appointments. By becoming a trusted partner, you'll bring a ray of warmth and sunshine to both the clients and their families, fostering a supportive and uplifting environment. Skills And Experiences To be successful in this role you will be required to have: Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care/Community or alternatively current nursing degree students that have completed their aged care placement. Previous employment experience in the aged care or community services industry. Basic computer skills to operate tablet devices alongside accurate documentation skills. Willingness to work in a wide range of diverse settings including community and at client's homes. Demonstrated ability to work independently and report as required to your supervisor. Empathy, patience and understanding, a great sense of humour and a positive approach to aging. Flexibility to work various shifts which may include weekends and evenings. Current Australian Open Drivers License Reliable motor vehicle (including valid registration and fully comprehensive third-party insurance).
