Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care, mobility assistance, and support with daily household tasks. Offer social support and encourage participation in community and wellness activities. Keep your team leader informed about client needs and progress. Assist with transporting clients to appointments and social outings. Skills And Experiences Why BallyCara? Travel locally between client homes across the Moreton Bay South region (with paid mileage). hat We're Looking For: A minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services, OR current nursing students with completed Aged Care placements. Availability for late shifts is highly desirable. Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Services. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays, early mornings, and afternoons. Basic computer skills with attention to detail in documentation. Ability to work independently while reporting to a Supervisor. Empathy, patience, and a positive outlook on aging. A current Driver’s License and a registered, comprehensively insured reliable vehicle. National Police Check (or willingness to obtain). First Aid and CPR certificates. Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination status (2 doses).
